I would like to thank all the parents who take the time to volunteer and help out on Mondays. Even though it's mandatory, it's great when you show up with a good attitude and participate. Makes for a happy Chess program (and Director)!
We have six dates left in the chess program that we need volunteers for. You can see the dates and availability on the Volunteer Schedule.
You can register and pay at http://www.spapwc.com/chess/index.html. There are 2 buttons to click on, one for registration..."Pay for Chess Club Now" and one for parent volunteer sign ups..."Parent Duty Sign Ups."
Lastly, if you have a burning desire to play chess yourself, or your child wants to play more and doesn't have anyone to play with, there is a great site that will accommodate you and it's free. Go to http://www.shredderchess.com/play-chess-online.html and check it out.
